To help our guests understand the reservation process and policies in place at the UCLA Guest House, we have compiled a short list of important things to know for all of our guests. Affiliation
The Guest House is a non-profit public institution that is chartered to serve the temporary housing needs of those affiliated with or doing business at UCLA or the UCLA Medical Center. Our inventory of rooms is small and the University demand is quite high. Because of this, we will need to qualify your visit.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations must be cancelled by 3 p.m. the day prior to arrival to avoid a one-night room charge.
Check-In & Check-Out Times
Guests may check in anytime after 3 p.m. The registration desk is open 24 hours a day for late arrivals. Please alert the Guest House if you anticipate arriving later than 2 a.m. Guests must check-out prior to noon. Luggage can be held beyond check-out time.
Laundry Room Hours
The laundry room is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Length of Stay
The maximum length of stay is 29 consecutive days.
Occupancy
A maximum of 3 people per room is allowed.
Parking
There is limited first-come, first-served parking available at the Guest House at the daily campus rate. Additional guest and visitor parking is available in campus Parking Structure 3, one block from the Guest House at the same daily campus rate (tickets may be purchased at the Front Desk).
Pets
Pets are not allowed at the UCLA Guest House. Assistance animals are always welcome. The Luskin Conference Center and Hotel offers guests travelling with pets an alternative place to stay.
Reservation Guarantee & Payment
All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card or a UC Departmental Recharge. Upon departure, guests may make final payment for charges with a major credit card, cash or UC Departmental recharge.
Checks are accepted as an advance deposit only, must be made payable to the UC Regents, and be received no less than 30 days prior to arrival date. The check must be pre-printed with a street address — P.O. boxes are not acceptable. Any advance deposit in excess of the final bill will be refunded by check and may take up to 90 days for reimbursement.
The UCLA Guest House does not accept "ghost" credit cards as our system does not provide authorization for these types of cards.
Rollaway Beds
The Guest House offers rollaway beds at $30.00/night (subject to availability) for rooms with a queen bed or rooms with a queen bed and a kitchenette. Rooms with a queen and twin bed may not have a rollaway bed in the room. Rollaway beds are limited and on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Smoking
The UCLA Guest House is a smoke-free facility.
